Second Post!
Hi Children Church Teachers!
Wow its really exciting to have this Blog for CCH!
I feel that everything has come to another level. With the new processes coming into place, the worship team coming, i just feel that the rain of revival is coming! So now as we plog the lands to get ready for this rain. I feel that during this time, we must also build ourselves up. One sentence that Pastor mentioned before really struck my heart. A sentence from St. Augustine: "To my God, a heart of fire; to my neighbour, a heart of love; to myself, a heart of steel."
I felt that as we are on fire Christians, building this house of God and loving the kids and people in church, at the same time, we must also treat ourselves with a heart of steel. Because we do not take ourselves in hand, how we possibility lead our kids.
Just some sharing. haha
Something else i want to share before i end. Which is this quote from John Wimber
"The economy of the Kingdom of God is quite simple.
Every new step in the Kingdom costs us everything we have gained to date.
Every time we cross a new threshold, it costs us everything we now have.
Every new step may cost us all the reputation and security we have accumulated up to that point. It costs us our life.
A disciple is always ready to take the next step.
If there is anything that characterizes Christian maturity, it is the willingness to become a beginner again for Jesus Christ.
It is the willingness to put our hand in His and say, "'I'm scared to death, but I'll go with you.
You're the Pearl of great price.'"
I feel that at this time when we are breaking through and coming to a new level, we must also be ready to give it all. It is my own personnal revelation. fruit for thought.........
